SkinStudio: Does the Places List allow transparency in Windows XP?

Thursday, July 25, 2002 by DigitalCHET | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I'm working on a WindowBlinds skin and I'd like to use some transparency on the Places List in the Start Panel. I've drawn up all the images with the correct magenta color for transparency but the areas which should be transparent are drawn as black.
Everything looks fine in SkinStudio but it won't work when the theme is applied. Does this mean that transparency is not supported in that area, or is there a trick to it or not usable at all?

I would appreciate some help.

Transparency is supported in places list, only avoid the area were the text appearing.
