Transparent Sections not working?

little help or explanation needed.
When attempting to skin certain sections of explorer/7 parts. Such as favorite links BG, (or any part of it really), my transparent sections are not showing up properly when applying skin. Skin Studio shows them properly though. My favorite links bg is also not being rendered at all. see attached image.

Make sure you've filled in the "glass" section of the explorer window. Although personally I haven't made a transparent skin. I would recommend viewing other skins to see how it's done and then try it

You have to skin the glass folders bar, then skin will work I believe.Seems to affect glass portions.

Sounds, like the general consensus is to skin glass bars. Does that mean I should disable non-glass elements? OR would i just make secondary images not containing transparency for the non-glass? I'm assuming it will choose the proper images depending on windows settings?

you got it skin both one with trans one without trans ,you can get by with just the glass but some instances like when windows list search results things change so it is better to skin both.
Additionally the libraries section on the left MUST be opaque wit will not skin trans in that area.

thats happend to me,,what i did was skin over one of my other skins that was ok,,as a new skin just wasent having any of it,,
