Configuring Players
Tuesday, July 16, 2002 by Whitney Walker | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Hey there...I am new to this whole DesktopX thing. I am thinking about purchasing a copy, but I want to be able to customize my player to work for Winamp. I downloaded the "Round Player" but it does not have any documentation telling how to customize it, and I cannot find anything that I understand on this board. I tried changing the plugin to the DXWinampInfo.dll file but it said something about being a drawing plugin and it would not work???? I don't know. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance...

Welllllll...I put this in the parameters of the player's play button...Par 1 - Winamp, Par 2 - Load; Play...and it worked fine. The OS does not even recognize that Winamp is playing in the Task Manager...worked perfectly. Thanks...

I don't use the app, or have any programming background or anything, but this might give you some help if you haven't already seen it... https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/tutorial/build/sound.htm
