I wanted to ad andi18 (as well as others) to my favorites in explorer but there is a small problem. With skinners (like andi18) that have multipul skins (over 20) all the screen shots of the skins do not load up. Is there a way to query the asp server for a specific program skinned by a specific desiner? How is the url written so I can make it a favorite

for ex:

andi18 wallpapers
andi18 icons
andi18 windowblinds




????

You'll need the library number and the author ID, then just put it behind the skins.asp? in the link.

skins.asp?library=1&AuthorID=2663
(I left off the beginning of the link so the text would show)

Using this particular link should get you all of adni18's WindowBlinds skins.

Well, that should work but it seems to be a bit buggy. Perhaps it's just my connection but possibly the asp needs a little polishing.

hey it works!!! It just takes some time to load up... I used

skins.asp?library=2&AuthorID=2663

to get all of the icons for andi18. he has allot so I had to refresh to get all the images.

I figured for those skiners that have so many skins that I could cut down the total skin collection and get specific skins. I guess andi18 is a bad example of getting the page up faster (but it works for other authors depending on the skin count)

(now how do I query for certain dates and stuffs)

I am starting to think it is a well gaurded secret.... I hope I didn't step on anyone's toes...

I'll figure it out (the date thing isn't so important). I am sure soon there will be so many skins on the site that it will be hard not to have.... wait a minute... I could have used the search option!!!! duh.... I guess I never really used it so I forgot it was there. I will give it a go!!

it's more the parlance of tman, joe. he'll be on sometime monday, things being as usual.

i'm quite tired as i read this, but i think the proper controls are in place. try going to the section in question, such as windowblinds. from there, search for author and sort by date.. i may be confused on this.. i rarely sort this way, and as i said, i'm quite tired
