How Do I setup my player with DXPlayer.dll?

I know this probably sounds like a newbie question, but i can't figure how to setup the displays and buttons. Please help!

You'll have to create buttons for each of the functions you want (play, pause, etc.) Each button will have a mouse over, mouse away and mouse down (if you want to, that would be 3 images for each function) When you're done, go to DX, add new object, add new plugin (SDPlayer), click configure and then map the button to the correct function. In the appearance tab, choose the bitmaps you want for each mouse event. Then repeat all that to do the next button. Hope that helps (I just hope that's what you meant )

well i have all the buttons configured, i just don't know how to get it to display like the song length and the file and all that. Thanks for the help anyway.

It only displays that info if you use SDPlayer. For winamp, you get the basics only.

You might want to try the new dxtoys 5. It does everything you could ever want with winamp. http://iquebec.ifrance.com/celticsoftware/
