Screenshot & Paint Help

I'm trying to do a screenshot of my desktop but when I go into paint I can't resize it to get the hole shot in,and I have tryed everthing I know.I'm probability doing someting wrong

Using the Print Screen button should put the entire screen on your clipboard. You can then paste it into Paint. If you have a active printer you should take it off-line first.

print screen is good. but you can try using programs like SNAG IT (from Techsmith) for ADVANCED capture...
for eg: if u wanna get a screen of a MENU only, u can use SNAG IT...

You maybe have enabled some hardware support for desktop or you are trying to take a screenshots of other modes(OpenGL,3DFX).Personally i just use screenshot programs like SnagIt.They do excellent work and are easy to use.

Thanks for the help I think I got it fixed and it's working. I'm also going to give snagIt a try again Thanks.
