I was recently messing with a few old Litestep themes and ran across these..
My first skins,
made some time in early 1998?.. the Backgrounds were made for a Module named Lstaskman v1.2..
Not much to look at considering.. but ahh the memories..

A horrid skin I started working on back in 1999, based on an underwater mining type game called Subculture.
I never finished it - and never will.

My first skin was called LunarBlue, it was a visual style I made in 2002 for what was Style XP back then...

I think my first was for a proggy called 'CD Stomper' .....and I was the number one skinner for it on skinz.org [which probably meant I was the only skinner for it].
That's probably my oldest here....it's still floating around on Customize.org....since about 98 or so.
Oh look....there's a date on thw wharf module....29 Jan 99.
I think I still have the keyboard drawer in the 'icon' top-right...as that [then] was a photo of.....wait for it......"My Computer"....it even made sense....

Ah, you had ACD See 2.2. I'm still using my ACD See 2.3, works better than anything
