3D studio Max & Photoshop

I need help in using this two programs, I have both of them but are not very skilled at either. can anyone point me in the direction of some tutorials or give me some? Plain advice is also welcome

doesn't max have some little learning projects included with it too?
also, take the time to really go through the manual, it's worth it

This place just opened, and in my opinion, it's without a doubt the finest repository of graphics tutorials on the net.
