NEWER VERSIONS???

almost everytime i download a skin for Desktop X and try to use it i am told it has been designed for a newer version but i have repeatedly checked i have the latest version. Is this becuase they have been disigned for that one that joins sesktop, windows blinds n all the other programmes?? or tsomthing else...PLEASE HELP

Version 1.2 can be obtained via component manager if you have it, or via the Stardock website update facility. They will send you an e-mail with a link to all updated products you have registered.
