Skinbrowser message header.

Saturday, June 22, 2002 by Fuzzy Logic | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

My message board header will not refresh. I've cleaned out the ini files, erased the cookie etc. This means I get a fresh header to start, but after that, no update. It's currently showing 47m as the last posting. I'm using the "go back to message board" to see new messages. Any ideas?

It's working ok here... I can't think of anything that would cause that.

wow - that was strange... when I posted that comment up there (from the skin browser), it returned me to a thread that was made up of the first post in every thread. It looked like a normal message board thread but it wasn't, it was just the first posts from all of them. At the bottom it had the "show entire thread" button.

freaky...

I have seen that now and then too, DavidK. Also, when I open SkinBrowser, all the posts at the top of the list are 10 days old. If I leave it open for a while, a couple of recent ones appear at the top, but not all. I pretty much browse the message board entirely within the bottom web browser window, using the "Go Back to Message Board" link to see new posts.

Same here. I found the 10day problem can be sorted by deleting discussion.ini from the skinbrowser folder.
