Wallpaper artists! (request, or suggestion)

Friday, June 7, 2002 by Nite77 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hi,

Most of you don't know, but there's a big community of Multi-Monitor users out here. But what we have, is a lack of good-looking wide-screen wallpapers. In fact, I can't remember even a single one. They are either ugly, or then just pictures of nature. (don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with them, but there could be some choice... )

So, is anyone willing to give it a try? There a limited amount of walls that look good while streched on dual screens, but nothing that looks good on three. So the lack is primarily on 3072x768 / 3840x1024 or larger walls.

Something simple and stylish, if you ask me

(BANDA by get Carter (shaded darker and colored blue), chained by BoXXi and Ligma by Agneva (also with more blue tint) or very good examples of what I like and expect from a good wallpaper)

I might just give it a try. If I do make one, I'll put those dimensions in the title, so you will be able to spot it when it's uploaded. O.K.?

hmmmmmmm.... it never crossed my mind... multipul screens is common for Adobe Premier users or multi media film production.

I guess it won't be to poplular for most folks.
but what to do?

Thanks for the hint Jafo, but its a little bit too "crowded of things" or something, I like to keep my wallpapers "clean"

BoXXi, you're my hero!

*whee* nicenicenice! thankyou *much* BoXXi. If I were a girl, I'd give you a kiss (as it is now, it's probably better that I do not )

My pleasure sir. If you want more, I have a few more that I was experimenting with. Just let me know

BoXXi is annoyed that the first person to offer him a kiss turns out to be a guy! Damn! >

I can take *any* amount of good-looking wallpapers

My sister just pointed to me that I change wallpapers more than socks. *shurgs*

I even took a sitting and did a couple of them myself. Hopefully I'm not offending anyone's artistic eyes, 'cause I thought I'd upload them here...

Go ahead and upload them.
I will do some more work on the others that I have, and I'll upload them using the same title as the others. Could be a few days, I am working on 3 DesktopX themes, and about 5 wallpapers!!!

BoXXi needs to learn to finish one thing at a time!

So there ya go, my first submissions to this site, two (actually three, but on got "moderated") wide-screen wallpapers.

I don't have *any* clue why the one got moderated, it's actually the nicest oen of them, and I've been using it since I first created it. (You can see it in the "Current Desktop" screenshot)

If anyone wants it, just ask.

"on" equals "one" inside the parenthesis. and "oen" equals "one" in the other sentence.

I think I have a problem with that word

Okay, so I got bored and had an inspiration-kinda-thingy...

More wallpapers at http://www.nitesade.net (in the MMGW-section).

Tell me what you like, if you use them, please?

"There's a big community of Multi-Monitor users"

So, they get together and talk about the multimonitorness of their screens?

craeonics is just poking fun, uses a dual-head himself
