HELP!!!

Tuesday, May 28, 2002 by xandavie | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I added window blinds to my system. Whenever I apply any skins, the taskbar and start menu will not adopt the skin. The only thing that will change is the graphic on the start bar. I've tried changing the settings in windowblinds but nothing helps. What am I doing wrong?

BTW, I have Windows XP.

thanks anyone who can help.

Windowblinds existed before XP....so many skins didn't alter the start/task bar as such.
You need to DL skins which are XP-compliant...in other words, more recent skins....

i've been using recent skins like "No OS". The picture on this site shows a modified start menu, but I don't get one.

Windowblinds also needs to be the full, purchased [registered] version, not the share-ware version to alter the startbar...

Really? I thought it did that in shareware . . .
