just noticing a slow down in the 'available downloads' section of object desktop. i think it's been weeks since i've seen a new beta/alpha. something going on with my setup? or is this the same for others?

I can confirm that vacations have taken their toll, particularly because the person taking them is the one who does all the releases. 
WFX 2.0 and various other stuff is in the works, and I'm sure the release-a-day schedule will as soon a possible.
