Harry Harrison is Gone
Fantastic Sci-Fi writer has passed on.

Harry Harrison wrote quite a few novels, series and articles... but I remember him best for his "Stainless Steel Rat" series (Jim DiGriz, super con man), and "Make Room! Make Room!" about the horrors of overpopulation (and provided the basis of the movie "Soylent Green").
There were 12 novels in the SSR series... all were witty, funny and like Star Trek, pointed to absurdities, faults and foibles in society.
He was 87...
Rest In Peace, Harry. Thank you for Jim, Angelina, Simon and Bolivar DiGriz.

Stainless Steel Rat was one of my fave series....
