Helen Gurley Brown Dead at 90

Back when books and magazines were made of paper, a young woman wrote Sex and the Single Girl (1962) and along with Hugh M. Hefner helped America's sexual revolution come into being by informing us that not only did young women have sex, but indeed enjoyed it.
Well, her career went onward and upward to encompass Cosmopolitan Magazine from 1965 through 1997 and during that time told women how to enjoy it even more, among other things. She paved the way for the feminist movement (I don't care what anyone says, they do move delightfully). Ironically, Hef went on to be the easy target of feminism, but Ms. Brown went back and forth being the heroine and villain of the women's movement.
Anyway, the petite powerhouse is gone, and we're all the poorer for it.
Rest In Peace, Ms. Brown.
