Severe WC Issue in FF and IE
Tuesday, July 31, 2012 by LightStar | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
I just noticed that WC is having severe issues and does not display right if you go to the site and you are not logged in. It happens in both Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Looks like this, but if you log in all is fine.

I've seen that before. Usually refreshing the page clears it up but not always. Sometimes closing the browser and re-opening it works too. Haven't had that issue lately though.

Closing tabs and reloading, refreshing, nothing fixed the issue. I tried them all.

Happens to me only when using Chrome's IEtabs extension, also with the latest Opera. Lot of gray (at the bottom of a page) with Maxthon.

Just to say that the issue happens regardless of log-in status ( i had the issue prior to making the account and the issue is still here now ). Currently ( FF v14.0.1 with only Dial plug in - which i don't see how it has anything to do with WC site and IE 8 - i am not using IE at all ) both see the site as on the image above making it completely useless and unusable. I tried refreshing, closing tabs, restarting browser - nothing helps.
So is there a definite fix to this problem or are they working on the site?
EDIT : The site is working fine with Google Chrome ( just installed it ) though that doesn't change that the site is not working for some reason on other browsers :/

If you are logged in it works fine John, try logging out and see what you get.

I must be a lucky one. I logged out using IE9 and Chrome. Opened win no problem. Logged in no problem. So now I closed both browsers and ran ccleaner whice gets rid of all logs as you know. Opened wincustomize with both browsers again got the adds but no other problems. Logged on and all is fine. Using win7 pro 64. Don't use FF so can't try that one.

Yep .. I'm having issues as well, it seems if I sit on my left foot, hold my nose and then jump up and down it will sometimes work ...
Used Pale Moon, IE, and Opera ... all having problems.

All I did was get up this morning and wincustomize is all screwed up as the others have pointed out. I'm even logged in.

Still looking into it, seems to be hard to track down.

I have seen that issue using IE 9 also LightStar, usually closing out the tab and going to the WC site again clears it up. Haven't seen it though in a while. Not sure that it's a WC site hicup or just a connection hicup.
