Grandpa!

Friday, May 17, 2002 by treetog | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I just voted in the latest pool and when I went to see the results, I saw the my age (35-64 year old) category have the majority of the votes.

I knew that the averadge age here was higher, but I never thought we were that old.

Way to go Grandpas!

oh come on you grampas relaxxx don't you know being so concerned about your age can add 10 extra years on you!
and look at lil Spikey over here at the perpetual age of 16 hehe
(Enjoy your youth cuz I see alot of 16 year olds that never get to "Blessed enough" to be an old fogie)

I always find these age threads interesting how ppl are so concerned about the age thing...
why don't ppl focus more on being the person they are instead of the number they are?
(and according to my number I'm old enough to be yo momma spikey!) hehe

Like it or not, age is a major determining factor in how one thinks, feels, and behaves. That is why the poll results are so interesting because there seems to be something in this site that appeals to a different demographic than other places.

haha treetog, that would have been hilarious if you had told SpikeTagger that there's nothing wrong with being 16--but being CANADIAN is another story altogether.

haha (only joking! put down the torches!)

Thank goodness for clean Scottish air causing age reversal,51 and feeling 15!

Brad age does not determine those things for me, I won't waste my time on earth worrying about my age but rather enjoy my days life is too short to spend it worry about such a silly thing, and age has no bearing on ppl's mentality at all, it comes mainly from life experience and genetics age is just what happens to our bodies wisdom and age have nothing in common...
therefore age will never effect my thinking as you say
plus I see ppl who worry about their age alot and they look so old even when they are not

95% of ppl worry about it, 5% are smart enough to save that time to enjoy other things or use that time to worry about things you can change...

. You sure read something completely different out of my post than what I intended.

I find it interesting that different sites attract very different demographics. And so do others.

Age is just a state of mind, I think I lost mine a while ago cause I feel like I'm Spike's age.
For the record, I'm 60

no not really Brad but just that you seem to like to catagorize everything and age is another one you cannot... hehe
but then again I always tend to read you differently
plus I've seen you mention a few times about age and how old you feel, and your not!
age gets brought up alot around the sites that I read, and I just went off track maybe? hehe
sorry

I still think your site attracks the older crowd cuz of the design of it (very calm) secondly, limited skin sections

okay so maybe I wanna particially begin an age debate w/ you Brad... hehe
actually the thing is I've been seeing this age thing get brought up around the sites and even Java said at her turning 30 years old she feels old and when your birthday passed Brad you said you felt old, I wonder why at 30 you guys feel old??? that's not good for you guys to feel that way at such a young age, it puzzles me to see quite a few ppl in the skinning community saying they feel so old at only 30
Doreen hands Brad a pamper, go change your diaper froggy... hehe

You're right about the age thing Dor, it really is a state of mind. I find it funny that I meet old people all the time. Quite often I'll be working with some old guy on an ad or aomething and at some point I'll realize (much to my horror) that I'm ten or fifteen years older than the guy I'm talking to.

I did my time as an old guy when I was 7-13 year old... that was enough of that... Bodies are made to wear out, the paint cracks and fades, but the engine inside that runs things never gets old and worn out, unless you turn it off and let it rust.

I felt great at 30,40,50 and 50+, but when I passed 50 everything started to break down. All my injuries caught up to me. So watch out when you hit 50.
