a little while ago Alexandria was topping the lists. favourates were Bleu, Beige and Aquarium.
i think another one was also there, but not sure which one it was.
i havent payed much attention since though. i tend to get withdrawral syptoms if not using Bleu, Aquarium or XPCobalt. preferably all at once

looking though my IE cache for documents referencing wincustomize, i have the top 10 downloads on the 10th May 2002
in order they are:
MacAqua
X-BOX
Omega Skin
Bio-Hazard
X-BOX
AquaSteel
Trail Pack 5
Media Monks
Silver Shine
Blank 2002
i am not sure which ones are WB skins off hand, but with some more digging that should be identifiable to.
adni18, you can probably do the same search on your machine to get at exactly the information you want

I know very well witch skin was first, second etc , in WindowBlinds "downloads overall" sorting list.
I just wanted to see witch of you, all kind authors, is having a good memory.
I guess, that the ones who are having a good memory, don't care or they don't want to answer

if i had known then i would simply have given the result from 6 months ago, which was thecat2000 and her XP style WB skins

as for memory, mine is full of all sorts of things, mostly work related though
i really dont pay any attention to that list any more. i follow the threads on the subject though, which is why i know both alexandria and thecat2000 had stormed the ratings.
for me most popular means very little, since they are not normally skins i really like.
as for answers, it seems to be a law of nature.
on the newsgroups, theGreenReaper answers 50% of all questions, the rest of us get another 40%, and the rest sort of get worked around

here there seem to be more left overs. but then, there only seen to be about really 20 active people on this board
feline considers that bizarre

remember that some of us are programmers.
based on the programmers where i work, you should be please they can remember how to submit skins

pool the programmers where i work, and we manage to forget:
* our own names
* everyone elses name
* the day
* the year
* our own ages
* where we live
however we can provide vast amounts of arcane information, including large chunks of offical specifications and source code locations from memory.
we are who postit notes were invented for. now if we can just remeber where we put the reminder notes

I usually only answer questions when I know the answer, finding it usually useless to answer with "Sorry, I don't know.".
But, if that's what you want to know then, ok:
Sorry, adni, I don't remember. I rarely pay attention to the top downloads.

BTW, what do the numbers next the authors name indicate? Are they submissions, or daily downloads?

So:
Treetog (915)
Adni18 (688)
APB (522)
Meens that the respective authors got 9150, 6880 and 5220 downloads yesterday for the total of all their skins.
