Windowblinds update has borked Firefox titlebar

I just downloaded an update from the Stardock store (I didn't use SDC per Neil's suggestion in this thread: LINK)
Now I'm getting problems with my FF titlebar (maxed only).
The top part gets chopped off on high titlebars and on narrow titlebars there is a gap between the titlebar and the toolbar underneath. Moreover, on skins that have global flash enabled, the flash seems to stretch ouside of the button (either up or down........it stretches towards the gap created). I see the same stretching on titlebar buttons that have an outer glow.
Skins that I have tested:
Corporate
The "aero" skins: Frost, Executive, Midnight...etc.
Altitude
Charger
Plus various of my own.
Firefox Version: 13.0.1

Sure, reducing the titlebar height would fix it....but that's not an option for a skinner. Changing a bunch of skins is not a viable option IMO. Especially since it worked before the WB update.
My firefox version hasn't changed, but my WB version has.

I just noticed that my skype titlebar is getting chopped off on the top too....both maxed and non.

Have you tried a reboot as I cannot think why skype would have changed at all.

Having looked into this it appears there is a small issue with skins that use small titlebars with firefox. An unexpected side effect of the code to workaround the bug in FireFox with larger titlebars.
This should be resolved next week when the update goes up with a small version number change anyway.
Regarding Skype : no issues were found and this firefox problem was specifically limited to FireFox and PaleMoon only.

See how there's a gap on the top and the global flash extends outside of the button all the way to the top?
This is after the latest WB update.

I cannot see any issues with the global flash here. The buttons flash correctly inside their own area.
However there is a design issue with the skin thats making that particular skin less than optimal for Firefox. The shadows should be using the Vista/7 shadow parts rather than putting them in the frame. By making them part of the frame you are making your caption height bigger and the firefox orb button will appear outside the 'caption' area as it does not know about the shadows you made part of the frame.
In general use the shadow parts when you can as smaller borders are faster and more compatible and the shadow parts do not count as borders.

That may be true, but You'll find the same gap on any skin with the OS caption height set to 30px or more regardless of the frame design.

Ive noticed that windows 8 comes with some preintalled skins, if I use one of those, Firefox skin doesnt get altered, but if I use other skin, for example "metro" or other one downloaded from winccustomize.com , the firefox skin got messed up
so it is something with the skins

I have noticed all kinds of issues since the last update. Pretty much all of the frames seem to be a pixel off. Some skins have a huge blur spot (I assume shadow error) next to the frame. Plus my text constantly scrunches up and I have to hover over it to make it readable.

I would suggest that you guys start a new thread rather than using a year old thread which was about different WB and FF versions
