Favorite Season

I'll make no secret of it....Spring is my favorite Season. The return of life and beauty to the landscape and the over arching rebirth of nature is a sure cure for the long winter blues. What is your favorite season?

In Texas we have four seasons; hot, hotter, hottest, and Christmas. I like Christmas followed by hotter.

definetly winter, I love rain and thunder showers and the smell of it all...

Hate hot, only like to sweat when I plan on busting one at the gym other then that I like to be cool and comfortable. hehe

I once lived as part of a crafts commune (for lack of a better term) and we would work all winter doing beadwork and stained glass and then spend the whole summer traveling around to the shows selling our wares. That was the best use of the seasons I ever experienced. It seemed so much in tune with nature.

We lived out in the country and it rained a whole lot in the winter. Our days were spent keeping the fire alive and creating stuff. Dreary but focused and purposeful.

Spring would be like an awakening. We'd get the garden in and go find someone to fall in love with. Summers were hot up there. When we weren't on the road selling or making an 600 mile journey to buy food and supplies (and the latest GratefulDead record) we'd be skinny dipping at the river during the day and drinking/playing music at the tavern at night.

Autumn was necessary. It was a needed recuperation from 4 months of partying and a somber reminder that there was work to be done. Autumn was like a hangover during which you had to cut down trees, chop firewood, and build up a store of supplies for the dreary but productive season that loomed ahead. Autumn reminded you that there was a price to pay for the spring and summer of love and partying you had just enjoyed.

My favorite season is spring...

Spring-summer, I'm not a sun worshipper but I can't stand the short days/long nights of fall and winter. It makes me depressed.

Autumn/Fall.

Thunderstorms, dark nights, rain, wind, what more could you want. It's the only time of the year when you'll find the streets totally deserted at night, which is quite uncanny in a city.

I like Summer and Winter. I couldn't live in a country that has none of the other. Typically by the end of August I'm tired of Summer and can't wait for the snows of Winter and by March I'm sick of having to wear boots and coat to go anywhere.

I don't like Fall because it rains all the time and I don't like Spring because it stinks. Spring is wet, slushy and muddy. The shit that have been accumulating all winter in the parcs now thaw out and the whole neighborhood smells like sewer.
Not, althouhg I enjoy being able to leave my boots home, I dislike all the rest. April is not my favorite month. Usually by mid-May, thins are startnig to be more enjoyable.

they are all wonderful though. i'm very much a naturally focused person, and the change, progress and appreciation of the seasons is incredibly important to me.

I like spring and fall. I like weather when you can wear a sweatshirt and jeans and be the right temp outside. I don't like summer too much because I am (literally) allergic to the sun.

Oh, definitely Summer! Here in Australia we celebrate Christmas in shorts and suntan lotion. Then sit down to a full Christmas roast turkey dinner, decorate fake snow-covered Xmas trees, turn up the airconditioner to the max and try to ignore the surrounding bush-fires! Ah, bliss!!

I think it's not a skirt but a wrap over a bathing suit.

DavidK thinks BoXXi needs to get out more...
thong bikinis are very common on both coasts. I used to feel sorry for the girls in Capitola that would had a trail of men with cameras following them down the street.
