I joined. It's a little bit of a tossup though to how often I might visit but the idea of a skinner's only forum portion is way needed. It would be great if other skinners joined up just to support that aspect if nothing else.
Good luck with the site guys, I'll bookmark it along with WC.

Well, look at it this way folks, there's no posts unrelated to skinning there!
I like it!

I like it!
Hopefully the spammers don't find it. A constant problem on so many forums, WC included!

I find advertising the same product that you have been so proud to be part of here, very rude and insulting. Couldn't you just send someone an email. If, if it's any good word of mouth will take care of it. CRUDE, and Neil is being way to nice.
If I have an ice cream shop and a customer decides to also sell his ice cream in my shop..... do I have to go on....

By the same token, you should then object to this post: https://forums.wincustomize.com/427334

And who's advertizing a product?
It's a FORUM about skinning!
Did you even check it out before posting?

That's Wincustomize Wiki... and individual sites if your inclined to see more of a certain skinners product. His art.
Yeah, I checked it out. It's another forum. There's a million out there but, you don't see them advertised here....
And if it's not free massive advertising, of the exact product he's using? Enlighten me.

That's another post from a member about other skinning sites....nothing to do with the WC wiki.
And if it's not free massive advertising, of the exact product he's using?
I don't understand your problem with this thread and I have no idea what the sentence above means.

It's his first link. I didn't just pull that out of the air. You should return and check that out.
Me thinks I hear denial....

to me at least, these forums cover a lot of ground of which much does not have to do with skinning. I think the majority of us support the WC side of things because that is the showcase and the programs offered is just as important. The forums, not so much.
I have to click to get here so clicking on the "skinning community forum" link instead would be no different. Think of WC as the trunk of the tree with all these other sites as being brances off of the trunk. WC is still supported, it has to be.

Irokoness...it is a skinning site for skinners and skinning fans. We are not selling anything. It does advertise WinCustomize and WindowBlinds, and other skinning products made by Stardock, and others.
What you see wrong in that I'll never know.
I must say, it's this kind of attitude that is ailing WC lately. Come on, guys....lets once again be ONE SKINNING COMMUNITY!!

Promoting skinning is part of what WC does. We support other sites and even other, competing products.
I'll be the first to say that I want as many people to know about skinning as possible. The skinning apps pay my bills.
I'm looking forward to where this goes. I'll pop in to see what's different (because I have same here).
Good luck guys.
And because it needs to be said (although it shouldn't), if you don't like it, you are free to move on.

I like that Greg.
OK, that's rude, right thar. Name calling is exactly the kind of attitude that starts wars. And I've seen a few good ones here.
Who knew RedneckDude would try to lead a revolt.
