People are home . . and still trying to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it going forward.

Although I shudder to ask, since it has been a full three months, are we ever going to get an update for this program that addresses the issues from the last bad update? Three months is a looooong time getting it fixed.

I second that.

I will third this and say this is unacceptable business practice. You send us a bad update. A fix should be your TOP priority.

I don't have any issues with CFX since I didn't update, but that horse is most definitely NOT dead.

Dead horses should not apply to software that you paid for and have the audacity to expect to work as advertised. It is extremely poor customer service.

I guess I meant we're not gonna get the fix until they give it to us. I could go on complaining, but for what? It isn't going to change anything. We'll get our working software when they get ready to give it to us.
I have better things to do with my time than waste it here, complaining when it's a waste of time.
Not saying I don't agree with you guys, but I guess I have bitched enough about this particular issue.

Jim, I was not "bitching" just asking if we might get an update on the status of the fix. Please don't waste your time if you don't want to. It is a valid request for a solution to the problem. Someone has to ask.
This should not be the case and we all know it.

I'm sorry Frankie, I guess I'm not so good with words.
My point was yes, we have a valid gripe, yes we deserve to get what we paid for, yes we deserve a response/explanation. But I personally have already complained a bunch of times over this issue. I'm personally not wasting any more time on it.
It is painfully apparent to me that SD isn't overly concerned, else they would make 2.10 available till they get it fixed. Instead of leaving us to "tweak" things to make it work now. It should work out of the box, if not, it should be put back in the box and give us the older, working version.
Since I'm on the soap box, let me say that DX 3.5 Pro will not allow scripts to be used and should not be available either, it is a broken POS. But there it is, for the world go download and say, "Wow, SD stuff is crap." I have complained about it for ages and nothing happens. Waste of time.
Frankie, I didn't mean you shouldn't voice your displeasure. I just meant no one is listening.

Are you able to adjust the shadows? Cause if you are, you are one in a million!

4, yes 4 months and nothing. I'm sure you (Stardock) have a backup of the previous version. release it to those who now hav waited long enough for this to be fixed. I for one will think twice, or wait until members have given their ok, before updating anything.
Very bad form Stardock, very bad.

Quoting Philly0381, reply 115If you have been around Stardock/WinCustomize for any length of time you know that establishing time lines and posting of them only allows the rest of us to put pointy ends on our sticks and start poking at people. No one ever comes out of the ordeal with a smile on their face.
Sorry but it should not be that way. Like I said, this software is not free and we have a right to expect a speedy solution to the problem. Icon Packager has been totally borked on Win 7 64 bit for years and does not look like it will ever be fixed.
