Hey i'm just getting into skinning and stuff and I think its all really cool, basically I need to know what programs and stuff would help. Like which is better adobe photoshop or paint shop pro and stuff and is this what everyone uses to skin and stuff? 
im really clueless atm but any info would be greatly appreiciated

Well, I'm gonna answer your Photoshop/PSP question. Photoshop is generally better but it is also much more expensive. Paint Shop Pro is generally up to the job - it's what I use. Really you need to be more specific so peopl can answer your other questions - ie. what type of skins do you wanna do? DesktopX, icons, winamp etc?

cheers, at the moment im really looking into desktopx it seems really cool and intresting and also winamp but i think thats about it for the moment
