The best WinAMP skin ever?

Treetog sent me a copy of 'Universe'...the latest in a long line of great WinAMP skins from an acclaimed master of the art.
This skin is good. It's better than 'good', it's great [and it's grey], which makes it 'really' great....
Seriously though, it is both understated and classy, like a Chanel perfume bottle, or a Zippo lighter....[both of which are in the Museum of Modern Art].
Methinks that maybe one day, 'Universe' for WinAMP, by Treetog, will be there too...
Anyone have any thoughts on 'great WA skins'?

For 2D-styled skins, 'Act 2 Finale' by Raj I/O would have to be tops....

Not a good idea for me to reply as I may be considered the guy that likes WinAmp skins to disappear
However, one that I used for a very long time was a dark and rusty one. Maybe some bullets in them. Lost that one. Any one knows which one I mean and how it is called?

While Nucleo NLog may look pretty, it doesn't have a proper shade mode, and it's really hard to read any of the text/controls, taking its rating with me down to a miserable 3/10. I frequently change WinAmp skins, but the one I always end up going back to is SpyAmp Pro. It's easy to use, pretty and just damn cool, for me, that's definitely the best skin out there.

TopazAmp, Major Tom, Nemish, Petrol Flange, Leather Box, and many others rank at the top of the list for me, (TopazAmp being the very top of the list). But having also seen a preview of Universe, I would say it's up there too, maybe even the best I've ever seen. Universe is one of those skins that looks so good, is so well designed and drawn that you forget it's a skin. It could be a zippo lighter in your pocket or the stereo in your living room, it's so tangible.
But the most incredible thing about Universe is the rest of the suite. The WMP player definitly is my all time favorite with the best mix of design and functionality I've found. The whole set of skins has a clarity and elegance that's definitly unsurpassed. The startpanel and taskbar in the WB skin is a mind blower.
Alexandrie and treetog are making something that will forever be a milestone in skin suites... but you'll just have to wait till it's done to see it

Shush, Richard....the 'polite' word for mine is 'different'...
Now, 'Universe' isn't totally grey...there's a subtle use of colour...but what I like the most is the shadows for the 3D and the tactile, tangible feel of metallized plastic and 'glass'...

Deadman....I guess it's one of the perks of being around a while....I get stuff sometimes before others do....but the WA skin is Treetog's, not mine, and it's up to him how, and when it'll be released to the public....[hopefully soon]....

DarkFuture and Steamgoth, both by Kig are my favorite winamp skins. Now, about WMP skins I allways love almost all the skins made The Skins Factory, but the last Universe skin made by Alexandrie is in my opinion, one of the most beautyful and practicle skins I ever used so far.
