A moment of silence for one of our friends...

Saturday, March 23, 2002 by DavidK | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

It's a very sad day for the community as it has been announced that dredwork (James Quick) passed away on Thursday, the 21st.

He was very active in the community, most of his activity being at deviant art, LOS and deskmod. He was considered a very helpful and friendly guy by all who knew him and his loss will be felt by all. The sadest part is he was only 17 years old. My sincere sympathy goes out to all his friends and especially to his family. Rest in peace dredwork, your presence will be missed.

I never knew him, but it's always terrible to see someone so young and so talented be taken from this world

Rest in peace, James.

Every now and then, with the far-reaching diversity of the skinning 'community', one of us is no more.
It's sad that the more people you get to know, and the older you get, the more likely [and frequent] you will witness someone's passing.

It is truly a sad time.

A second person I know on the web is gone.... it's times like this that makes me think of how little time all of us have here.
