I am, for some reason unable to pin sks to the taskbar and startpanel.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Me neither, actually. Same goes for IconPackager.

It's not a biggie for me as I have it on my dock. But I'm sure that others like to pin their stuff.
Also Win7 x64
Good to know it's not just on my system. Thanks!

Does it here too 2of3, Windows 7 64-bit also. I addressed this issue to Stardock a couple of weeks ago and was told that there are just some apps you cannot pin is all. My IconPackager and all other apps pin just fine though, just not SKS after the last update.

Pinned to taskbar on mine but I am using Bins so thaat couuld effect it.But I know to pin it to either it has to be done from the icon put on the desktop during installation and not the .exe in the folder or in the All Programs List. Also cant be a copy of a shortcut must be the one created during install. Not sure why!
Win7 64

Hmmm, that's odd. When I install SKS it does not create an icon on the desktop at all.

Mine did then when I pinned it to the taskbar it took it off the desktop . I think memory is slipping LOL !!!

Win7 64
To my knowledge, Stardock apps don't make desktop shortcuts. I have always had to create my own. But SKS is a strange one indeed. I get no icon at all in all programs, a blank one.

I see Stardock icons on the screen? I can do that too, but they don't go there automatically on install. You have to make them.
Unless I'm crazy, which is possible.....

WOW. You can put it in the directory for pinned apps and it still won't show there.
C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

The only one that ever created a shortcut was Windowblinds. None of the others.

This is due to a bug in the installer that SDC and the standalone uses. As I recall all is fine if you had installed it from Impulse.
There is a 7.4 build sitting in the queue, so I would hope that when that gets released the installer has been tweaked to resolve this problem.
