Does anybody knows anything about the "blank e-mails" that some people and me we received the last days? I got also one from [email protected].
Is it some kind of virus?

I got one today, and it came with an attachment...I am sure it was a virus. I just deleted it without opening.

I also got one, w/attachment and just deleted it unopened, to me some one in the community has a real problem, if not sending a virus out its attack your skin comments or ratings... gezzzzz this person needs to get a life so now I'll get more sent to me, or attact my skins again, or steal graphics.......

Blank emails are usually the product of a virus. The email address that it is "from" isn't always where it was sent from. Some like to pick up the last email you sent out to use the address from, some use an address in your address book. We did send out a Stardock mailing from [email protected], but nothing comes from WebMaster. we also block known viruses at our mail server, and virus scan email on the fly at sales and support (which I reccommend.) Norton seems to do well with email scans and they have a "live" update thing. The only problem I have found, is that Norton will halt fetching email if it finds a virus and waits for a user response (kind of annoying if you send an automated response). We also don't use Outlook on sales or support.

The e-mails I got, are from persons that I don't have them in my address book and I think they don't have my address too, and I never have send them e-mail.
Also, there is NO attachment, just a blank e-mail. Desciple got a blank e-mail from me.
The e-mails are in Hotmail not the Outlook.
I don't know what is going on, I hope it is nothing.

Thanks Lady's for your answers

Have you done a virus scan? Make sure you do, just in case. I believe that Hotmail may have some virus scan built in on outgoing mail.
