In need of a good color picker

Thursday, February 21, 2002 by Xymantix | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hi all,

Oddly enough, sometimes Photoshop seems like overkill just to figure out the color value of something on the screen So, I thought that I'd take a couple of skinnable color pickers for a test drive to see if they do what I want. In addition to color values, I'd really like to have variable zoom and some method of determining which pixel in the zoomed area is used when reporting the color values.

Any recommendations? BTW, I tried to download Colorpad but all the URLs end up on some Medicine Education Forum ????

TIA,
