I'm thinking it has something to do w/ the reflection that is reflecting in that particular window? and he is confused by it...

Have you tried using window tint? There is a kind of tint you ust peel off the paper and press it to the window, using water as adhesive. If the window is darker, maybe he'll actually see it.

let's face it....if you cannot control the seasons...and you cannot control the bird's flight-path...but you can control the window placement....solution is logical...move your house.....
