Your set of wheels....

Friday, April 27, 2012 by Jafo | Discussion: Everything Else

This one ain't mine....it's my mate Dave's.

He's always wanted one...so now he has one.  Apparently it's the earliest example in Australia.

It's LHD and complete...the 'ends' are off as they were repainted.....and he's nutting out some wiring  [he should know what he's doing.....if you note what's in the background].

The bit I like is that in Back to the Future you had to get to 88mph.......

That's probably somewhat meaningful when you see the speedo....

....it only goes to 85 ....

So....

What's your favourite set of wheels?

I have 3 cars on my to-buy list to buy once the millions roll in (which wont be untill my mom kicks the bucket....)

Top of the list:

Nissan Skyline R34

Second is the Holden Monaro VXR8 Bathurst (NOT the Vauxhall edition...)

Third on the list, and the one most realistic for me to ever have: Volvo P1800

And yes...we know how to make cars go round corners.....which is why the US Fuzz is looking at them as chase cars...

I have a 2007 Civic Ex Coupe and its manual (the only way I will drive for the rest of my life).

Love it and it gets great gas mileage.Tried to find a picture with almost the same details and what not (its Galaxy Grey Metallic).

Now my dream car... well I have 2 choices Porsche 911 Turbo.

or a Porsche Boxster S.
