Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

I've been lurking for a while. An employment counselor told me I was probably "*overqualified*" for all the jobs I've been getting turned down for (sheesh, that doesn't read right, but I'm sure you know what I mean
)
It's a bit discouraging, to say the least. I just want employment in my city. I need to be around my kids more than I was while commuting. I'm not looking for a stepping stone, I will be satisfied with my job even though it might be less $$ than I have made in the past. I have said all this in my interviews when the subject has come up, but.....who knows. Hmmm sanitation engineers make a livable wage and have full health benefits for dependents. My daughter (just entering high school) would be mortified I should do that...just for her...hee hee.
Oh well...going to go put lights on my desktop Lemon buns...there's an image floating around my head...must drink heavily

werewolf...I know how you feel. I've been with my present company 10years, but before that was out of work. I was told everything from 'you're over qualified' to 'we're recruiting at a higher salary level' etc. All of a sudden I was offered four jobs in one week. So don't give up and don't get fed up - keep going! Things always get better. Bit like eating lemon buns...once you've nibbled the edge, you get to all that nice lemony stuff, yummy

however, lots of others are. something about the glowing red eyes, combined with the strange sound of a hord of demon bunnies in clog's bearing down on them
its not that crae isnt scarey, its more that i am so busy taking notes on the impressive masks that i dont have the energy to be scared
