Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

sure...Fuzzy...I'm still trying to figure out how to use my Admin status to bag the 2000th post. "Sometimes you can be as elusive as Doreen..."- I don't try to be. It's just that this "work" thing keeps getting in the way all the time!

Doreen has no idea??? maybe they picture me as an Egyptian chick wrapped in cloth in one of those funky upright caskets???
or maybe cuz me has been around the skinning scene for ages and they think of me as mummy Doreen???
or cuz me has two lil rugrats in my nest I'm tryin to raise up???

I'm sure Pat will do something mean to me when it gets close to the 2000th post- like take my account away, or turn me into a different nick, or something (Pat and Alexandrie have the database power- I do not). Or, he will bag it himself

My father-in-law, who just happens to live next door, decided that he wanted a big deck on the back of his house. Since I'm the only carpenter around....you can guess the rest
I got the main support structures all set out and then he said "Can you put a screened in porch on part of this?"
Well, yes, but that means that I have to redo that part to support walls and a roof, so I had to tear down part of this and rebuild for a porch. That's what I did all day yesterday. Grrrr.
Ever try digging a 4 foot deep, 12" dia hole in the ground using a power auger and your helpers are 11 year old and 10 year old children? We hit a root and the kids went flying. They are fine and wanted to do it again. Sheesh.
Ok, so back to the framing.
Feline: one of my favorite short poems:
The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
I got the main support structures all set out and then he said "Can you put a screened in porch on part of this?"
