Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

I Have WindowsBlinds But When i select XP fashion or others in Propities it only loads the tool bar (Start ect*) how do i get back ground and others with it????

M3tr0...The best place to get an answer to this type of question is the newsgroups. This is a message board and this particular thread is....um, not technical exactly although there has been some tech issues, not exactly spiritual although there has been some sort of connection between chocolate and divination and you could use the word catholic to describe it. whatever

Ooooh, lots of things have been going on while I've been away. I'm too tired now to read all the threads.
This thread has got a lot bigger since...and...pressing the 'show entire thread' button to try and catch up was a mistake!
Fuzzy Logic thinks the entire thread would take at least 2weeks at 56k to download...

You think you have problems? Let's see, what happened yesterday... I spent 3hrs walking in the Austrian mountains, 3hrs on a boat going round the lake, 1hr on bus transfer to Salzburg airport, 2hrs sitting in the lounge, 2hrs on a plane, ½hr on a bus to the car park, and a two hour drive home.
So what's the first thing I did when getting home? Right, I came here. That is so sad...
Maybe I need another hobby or something.

Fuzzy, how was your vacation? Sounds nice!
I moved my computer in my house to a more convenient location. I'm not sure if that was good or bad. I used to not have it on much, but then I bought a scanner and new printer, then a new monitor, and I upgraded the memory. So, I decided that I would move it so that I could use it easier. Now, the thing is never off. I have to limit myself, however, due to the fact that I am on a computer all day. Either that, or they need to figure out how to hard wire us to computers

Hi KarmaGirl. Thanks for asking about the vacation. I have to say it's the best ever. I'm one of those people who gets bored very quick when I don't have my home comforts at hand, which you never do when you're away. None of that in Austria. There was always something to do or something to see. And I missed so much too! I'm going back for a longer visit as soon as I can. If you get the chance, go!!
My PC is on 24/7...it runs better that way. Plus I have Seti running. For anyone else out there with Seti, I'm currently on 1462 wu's at an average of 7h59m42s...
PS. For any guys out there thinking of going to Austria, beware of the barmaids. Mine kept me up till 4am (she was buying...)

I need me a vacation (but hard to plan one w/ kids and work)
a friend of mine offered me a vacation for my kids & me under the stars (camping up in the mountains somewhere) but I said no way! you got no plugs and wall jacks there & bad reception!!! *sigh* can't go... hehe
