Msgboard Chatroom Marathon
Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

Awwwwwwwwwwww, fuzzy! I was just thinking about sending out a search party for you and OC too!
*sigh* I think people are all just wrapped up in the olympics and finals at school and stuff. Thats keeping a lot of the regulars away. But your skins! They are beauties!
I hope you feel better, and I hope you put them back one day.
I haven't been here a lot lately. I have been in a grand funk since sis left, just starting to come out of it. And also, I have a boo-boo in my foot that hurts if I sit too long in my computer chair.

All this time I thought you were still tussling those 72 plants around, but by now since we hadn't heard, I was starting to be afraid they got the best of you.

feline checks to see a list of fuzzy's skins...
NO!!!!! there is nothing there!
feline settles down to think, wondering what to say...
fuzzy, you skin for YOU! i know this, you do this because you like to create things, to see wonderful things come together under your skilled hands. you pour yourself, your heart and soul into this, and you create beauty.
fuzzy, please tell me that you still have this outlet! you need something good in your life, something other than work, something where you are your own boss, where you can see something wonderful grow under your hands, where you can see the results of your skill and talent appearing before your very eyes!
i don't care if you upload these skins or not. i care about YOU! i care that this gives you pleasure, an escape from work, a good thing in your life. to see you this hurt and upset...
feline wants to rush over and *HUG* you
feline wants to offer you comfort and friendship, to show you that some people, good people, do care about you and your art
this is so hard, it is so hard to know what to say. this is going to take time to say. but then again, fuzzy is worth the time and effort! feline sets out to say what has to be said

fuzzy, check your email. i finally worked out what had to be said, and somehow i managed to say it. having said it, i feel it is private, so i have emailed it to those who need to see it.
fuzzy, just hang on to this one thought for me, we are your friends and we are NOT going to give up on you or let go of you without one hell of a fight! feline *stubborn expression*

feline decides to handcuff fuzzy's left hand to OC's tree house
feline also decides to handcuff fuzzy's right hand to GM
now, since GM is supposed to be resting her foot and getting better, fuzzy cannot go anywhere!

With my left hand cuffed to a treehouse and right hand cuffed to GM, I'm sure there's some part of me left you can be handcuffed to...

goodmorphing thinks we ought to tie the handcuffs all together and go on a crabbie roundup!
*sigh* My hard drive crashed and I probably need a new one. Thats the bad news. My hard drive crashed and now I have lots of room, and I'm going to get a new and better and faster hd!

Ah, those mysterious clicking sounds... thought it was the sound of handcuffs but it turned out to be your hard drive.
Fuzzy Logic offers chocolate as compensation
Tip: some BIOS' don't support large HDs over 137Gb - like mine
I use a ATA133 card for connecting my 160Gb backup drive. XP supports drives over 137GB only with SP1 installed, so, a large drive will work in XP even without BIOS support, but won't be accessible by DOS. I use Drive Image 7.0 for backups and that will only see the backup in Windows without the ATA133 card - not much use as a back up! When booting with the DI disk for restore I have to load the ATA133 card driver from floppy, but that's no biggie.
Hmmm, got carried away there a bit

How do you find out what your BIOS will support?

Hmmm, you'll have to check the BIOS version with the manufacturer. It tells you who that is on boot, or SiSoft Sandra will tell you. If it's more than a year old, then it's safe to assume it won't support anything over 137Gb.
