Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm hot chocolate!

goodmorphing is ready for all the goodies that come in chocolate ... namely CAFFEINE!

I'm OK. I cut down rather abruptly on coffee, made a bunch more dietary changes... and I think I am actually a lot more jittery now than before!

Speaking of diets... fuzzy, how are you doing on your new diet/exercise program?

21 lbs lighter so far. Last week didn't go to well due to the excesses of my birthday

I can start exercising properly now too. I've not had an appointment for the consultant yet for the results of th ecg treadmill test I had in Feb, but I went to see my doctor yesterday and he has a letter from them with the results on. Everything normal

Still miserable though About 10 days ago I stopped taking a couple of my tablets - I suspect I have withdrawal symptoms. Didn't go to work yesterday, and came home early today - good job too, this morning I was on the verge of biting someone's head off. Right now it seems as if it would take only one word for me to snap.

(((FL))) Making change in your life isn't ever comfortable. Ruts and habits and stale routines... its hard to break away.

Starting all over again is going hard on me too. The last few weeks have been especially hard. I get this huge lost feeling when I think about all I have to do. Which direction to take now that they are all unencumbered? Its been far too easy to just blunder about in old comfortable pathways and not blaze a new path. It's gotta be done though.

Old Crab issues an invatation to FL to come out to Texas and work on his Rice Farm and get some REAL exercise and wide open spaces fresh air! It's planting season. Forget the little tablets and have a few Coors. (Just kidding).
Ahem. Sputter. Growl. Honk.

Yes Fuzz we grow rice. However I do believe I may or I may not go into the Sakie, Sackie, Saki, oh you know Japanese wine business. Rice production and farming just aren't what it use to be. My cousin in Virgina retired from AT&T and went into the grape growing business. Now she owns her own vineyard and winery. Go to www.abingdonwiney.com for info on some great wines. longhorn rice?  Now I have visions of rice stampedes.....

Ack...we appear to be a bunch of broken people lately.  Did you know that if both your ankles hurt like hell that you don't limp because there is no way to walk to keep either from hurting?  *sigh*  I hate arthritis.  Especially since our weather hs been flip flopping.

feline *peaks*
have i made it past the message board into a safe place? or did i get lost? getting here is getting dangerous *sigh*

ah yes, the wonderful world of work. "you can do this new project, it will be fun" i was told.

there are about 1250 cpp files full of source code, and i am not supposed to reinvent anything. apparently just about anything i will ever want has already been created.

there may be some documentation on all of this, i think it was written on the back of a biscuit, which someone then ate >

so far i am 1 hour into my hunt for the official way to tell the 24 different types of NHS number apart, and there doesn't seem to be one *puzzled*

not only that, i had to talk to one of our customers on the phone

i think i am getting mood swings and stress attack headaches at the moment.

i think i am just going to kidnap all of you, and run off to a better place! somewhere where there are no boring clothes for GM or JavaBean, somewhere warm and sunny so everyone feels happier, somewhere with a track that we can chaise fuzzy around and around until we catch him and spank him!

Fuzzy Logic points out the outside world is not safe like it is in here. There are all sorts of andst-ridden youngsters out there eager to mug the unsuspecting furry animal

goodmorphing thinks this is the time to point out to the CEO that mood-swinging and headaches brought on by work is something extra. Like maybe $50/hour more!

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW... This year's weather is really dismal too here. Days and days and days of grey skies, rain, cold air and wind making it really, really cold! I actually have BLANKETS on my bed....

Hrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmm, sounds like feline,GM,Karmagirl,FL, and everybody else that resides on the Chocoalate Planet need to take a break and pile into the Crabs Treehouse for Pizza and chocolate ale or wine. Changed my mind about mayor. Don't need nor want any responsiblities. I have enought of those pesky tasks on earth.
Besides The Old Crab is beginning a new project. A new wheeling and dealing project. He begins by .......unwrapping 10 Lb. Hershey Kisses....and piling them up........ .
