Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

JavaBrain, you did let them talking you into being an admin, so you have to take your share of the responsibility

perhaps next time you will know better

Glen Eric Reed - If you fussed more with how things are "spelt," feline, then EVERYONE would know what you mean, not just you!

i do keep on asking for a spell checker to be added to the skin browser!

other than putting all my posts though MS Word, there isnt much more that i can do.

i look at the words, and am either happy, or it is totally beyond me how to fix them *shrug*

anyway, since people correct them now and then, they obviously know what they are.

just say them, thats what i do

werewolf she is on a plastic wheel! hehe
(tried to oil it where it spins but to no avail, it rattles, wiggles and squeeks still)

she thinks she is a vampire she loves blood!
either that or she is the hamster from Hell cuz everyone that goes oh how cute! and tries to pick her up gets bitten hard! hehe

mean tiny little thing she is but very cute I'm keeping her (I think they only live for 2-3 years) so it's not too long a sentence for me and my kids (my kids wear gloves when they pick her up) haha

Doreen: I used graphite powder on the axle to quite the plastic wheel. Won't help the rattles though.

Vampire hamsters I raised mine almost from birth and hand fed them quite a bit. Made sure they knew the difference between the scent of food and the scent of a werewolf who likes little puffs of fur for snacks

My hamster is pretty tame. She nibbled on my daughter once, but has never broken the skin on anyone. Her new trick is to climb up her water bottle and jump to the wheel (which then flings her off as it turns). Pretty funny to watch!

well figures I would be the only one here w/ a Vampire Hamster from Hell... hehe
I don't know how to get her to stop biting everyone, I have no problem w/ her but I handle her differently maybe the kids get nervous and she feels it or something?

Doreen... I don't know specifically about your breed of hamster, but I think that most of them have to start being handled while they are very young to get used to it. If you've done that, well then...does it seem to get a bit furrier and longer teeth during full moons?

Personally, I think it's T-Man's fault that JavaKarma gets blamed for everything. Though I'm beginning to suspect that she may be responsible for everything. Just as I'm sure she's beginning to suspect I'm responsible for half her problems lately

Oh, I don't doubt it. I'm just referring to her recent problems. Between my WinStyles griping and my Dashboard whining, she's probably had enough of me for a while!

I guess I could always *ahem* find another admin to complain to!

I am not supposed to say that, but I am using an internal build of the SkinBrowser and it is looking great. It has amongst other things much better navigation. It's great. Bagginz did a good job on this one.

Glen, I appreciate the offer but I respectfully decline! And besides, I think JavaKarma likes it!

Whoa,

I run into connection problems, and the next thing I know, I get the reputation I've sacrificed this thread for the greater good!

Anyways,

Hiyas Doreen!!!

Okay, I'm back for a moment to post this little post and to catch up on the reading for the tread. This is starting to get unbelievably long, and maybe one day, someone'll post this entire thread on some odd site just for crazy reading.

BTW, when did the topic of this thread change? It got longer... MUCH longer.

It's rainning outside today, and I've got a bit more work to get to before days out, so can't hang around for long. However, it is in the middle of summer, all of you are probably dreaming of beaches, shade, and lots of sunshine for a wonderful tan come Fall

So, join me in Summer Planet, where the oceans are always clear, where the sun shines a gentle ray, lots of trees for shade, and where the ocean wind never ceases to blow gently from the beach. The fountains will always flow with your favorite cold summer drinks. Enjoy everyone

Off now, until next time everyone

This is a special thread. There is no topic. We are trying to have the largest and longest running thread. The admin programmed a little axtra to make things manageable.
