Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

Essencay finishes walking Bogart and Maggie. He notices that Bogart has settled down in his dogbed and thinks "Thank you all mighty spirits." He also notices that none of 'the voices' have come around tonight so he pours himself another little drink, tosses it back. "Good stuff", he says as he puts the bottle of Tanq away. He looks into the other room and between soft glow of light that gently touches Susan's beautiful face, the 'little drinks' and Bogart's antics tonight, he thinks "Well...maybe " essencay♣ snuggles up to Susan on the couch and says, "I was on WC today and folks were posting about what they got for Christmas and someone mentioned he got a gift that he 'really couldn't talk about', twice even and I was just wondering...." Susan looks down a remarks, "A Christmas gift? You need to be thinking about returning that thing to Walmart 'cause I think you were short-changed." essencay♣ slowly gets up from the couch and heads back to his computer. He decides he needs to stop this third person stuff before his wife comes over and reads what he's been posting.

My wife Susan is a saint. God bless her. I love her so. She is not anything like the person depicted above and would find the humor in it if she read it. Bogart on the other hand....

so, you mean i get to keep an eye on all the chocolate, and all of GM and JavaBeans clothes when they go swimming in the coffee lake all by my self?

still, it seems like a high price to pay in order to be the sole guardian of the modesty of two such lovely ladies. fuzzy, if you decide to return i am saving you a spot with a good view

Hmmm, this 'spot' wouldn't happen to be in a straitjacket would it?

Fuzzy Logic is very suspicious after last time

p.s. did I mention the moon is made of chocolate? Shhh, better not then

It is logical that a chocolate planet should have a chocolate moon

Essencay pops in for a bit. He's a little concerned hesitates...none of 'the voices' he's so fearful of are here, but he is wondering why everyone is talking about chocolate?

straitjackets?

Pardon this interruption...

by goodmorphing - 12/27/2003 10:35:16 PM Actually, the marathon thread is not a 'playpen thread'. If you read through it, you will see it has its own history, its own tradition, has been molded and shaped over time, and is full of good friends who have known each other for quite awhile.

I want to apologize for taking this thread off-topic with my posts #10857 to #10862. I have not read all 10800+ posts and did not understand what this thread was about until I read GM's post above.

we now return you to the regular topic of this thread...

Hey there essencay... welcome to planet chocolat! As you noted, there is a tradition, but all people are welcome to join in. After all, how do you make new friends, other than by joining in? It just takes some time to get acclimated and we know that. The only way you will be able to do that, really, is by being here and participating as you have done. It takes some time to blend in, usually we do a little blending of our own, too. As when Old Crab moved in with his tree.

er... sorry about mangling your name, I don't know how to make the symbol. You seem to be a very fluent and good writer. You are welcome to be here.
