Msgboard Chatroom Marathon
Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

| Admin KarmaGirl - Feline, there may be a lot of those old plug-ins that are broken now with the new DX. *snip* (I'm interested in what you are doing, btw ) |
i was only looking at that plugin as a shortcut way of learning how to make a plugin popup a config window

i considered learning windows programming from a book, one of those that starts right at the begining with all the basic stuff you need to know. however, that just sounded booring

so instead i am learing windows programming by writing DX (and hopefully KLP) plugins
sometimes the learning curve is quite steep

if anyone is interested, i will look into making this real. so far i am making good progress with a program that opens and then closes
the CD-ROM tray
i am working on the theory this is the fastest way to get KLP fixed
i was thinking that this makes the computer look like it is sticking its tounge out at you. so, i got to wondering, how about making a *RASPBERRY* DX object?
at the basic level all this needs is the ability to open the CD-ROM, play a *RASPBERRY* noise, show a few frames of a *RASPBERRY* being blown, and then close the CD-ROM again.
this way we can instruct fuzzy to press this when ever we feel the need to blow a *RASPBERRY* at him

of course, i am a fair way off knowing how to do this, but that can be resolved with time

| MadIce - If you have additional questions then let me know. |
cool, many thanks
some of this i have already worked out, thanks to a useful chunk of code i was able to find at Microsofts site in one of the technical documents.feline runs off to read the contents of the zip file
ooh, that makes sense
feline hopes this isnt a bad sign!
i will start playing with this soon
feline just wishes my main home machine was fixed
it is very frustrating not having it available, since it means i cannot play with these things as much as i would like

Madam Fuzzy Logic - Not so. Getting chocolate out of me is impossible ***RASPBERRY*** |
feline feels a new group activity coming on!

we should be able to get at least 101 ways!feline *considers*
number 1. i dress up in the sexy nurses uniform, and use the sight of me and my cleavage to charm choclate out of fuzzy logic

feline gets JavaBean a *REALLY* big mug of her favourate extra special coffee
feline coats fuzzy logic in chocolate
feline lays out the chocolate coated fuzzy logic in front of JavaBean
here, to show you that others have a far higher opinion of you, you can have first *SPANK*, *TICKLE* and nibble

Fuzzy Logic thinks feline's straightjacket needs a little adjustment
Fuzzy Logic pulls all the straps in a notch
There, that's better. Now feline can remain still while I commence the spank fest
But first, while feline is awaiting the first spank and is all unsuspecting...
***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE*** ***TICKLE***
Hehehehe Fuzzy Logic can be so naughty sometimes...

While feline is immobile, we can do almost anything we like. Like having a teasefest.
Idea 1) get a naked KG and GM, covered in chocolate, walking up and down just out of paws reach
Idea 2) Eat lots and lots of chocolate
Idea 3) ...

Hmmmm... I am thinking that I need a lot of chocolate.....
I am still baffled by yesterday's events. That guy is one big
loony. Hopefully he will either clean up his act or leave the site.
If not, I will have to let more people know who it is
I do feel better knowing that people didn't agree with him, though. The
follow up post by grayhaze made me feel a lot better. I guess when you're
an admin you have to take the bad with the good. My husband was *not*
amused by it all, though. Good thing the guy is not in the US

Now you will know the meaning of 'being cheeky'...
