Msgboard Chatroom Marathon
Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

| Fuzzy Logic thinks if KG is fit enough to give chase then she must be fit enough for work... |
goodmorphing thinks that if FL is blowing raspberrys, and they are falling in the melted chocolate, then it is no wonder KG hasn't caught FL yet. ...after all, if she caught FL she might have to share the goodies with him! |

...um.... is it an optical illusion, or is it html? Lookie the two previous posts. One is red inside a quote, and one is red outside the quote. They seem to be two different reds, but why would that be? Must be an optical illusion (on my screen, the message boxes are brown).Reply #9366 Friday, July 25, 2003 12:12 AM

| feline isn't around. Sigh, I guess that straight-jacket was a little too tight Perhaps chains might be more appropriate... |
goodmorphing offers to help fuzzy into the jacket so we can double-check it's fitness for feline......

| Eww, this makes me more frustrated. I just want to fling him across the room. |
...na, don't toss the kid. What you do is leave that page open, then go to another site that is kind of funny. That way, when you are reading stuff that is kind of funny you are susceptible and the kid will infect you with laughter. Then you laugh for awhile and build up some nice endorphins. Then you come back here, and the kid seems ok now....Reply #9369 Friday, July 25, 2003 12:18 AM

i need a HUG right about now.
i was starting to feel all happy and relaxed. on holiday from work for a week, and following a format my machine i actually seemed to have my fast machine working again.
and then, about 2 hours ago, a sudden hard lock!!! *sob*
so, a question for JavaBean, is it possible, i dont care about the odds, for DesktopX to hard lock a winXP machine? i was only running one item in the theme, my online time plugin, which simply updates the text of a text mode label.

Last weekend I fixed someone's pc. He'd been having trouble for weeks with no Internet or e-mail. I fixed it in a couple of minutes. Problem is I did such a good job he's pestering me to go back and do some more work - I declined, I've had enough of computers this week.
Tuesday night we had a power cut at work. Got into work Wednesday to find all the servers sitting on log-on screens, the A/S400 switched off, the router missing half it's config and the main BT phone system with a fried hard drive. On top of that my IT colleague (A/S400) was off sick all week. I had the servers back up in a couple of minutes. The router needed an engineer, that left us without external e-mail for a day. The BT box required an engineer - that took two days to fix. I got the A/S 400 back up in 5hrs despite having very little knowledge of that system. And guess what - no-one said thanks, despite the fact I single handedly got the Company up and running, all I got was complaints.
Fuzzy Logic would like to have a job where what you do is appreciated
Fuzzy Logic must remember to check today's lotto numbers... (there's always hope!)
If I win the lotto I'll buy you a new pc
