Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

hmmm...everyone sitting around naked in this thread....I think we should at least have to wear thongs as a minimum. If you are completely naked, you will stick to your leather chair...of course, the thong probably won't help.....

Glen Eric Reed - is it really possible to get a voice full of foreboding and doom from a turtle??
just remember that turles have a hard shell. so if you pull your head a very long way back in you can get a lovely resonant cavity, which will give you a nice deep and booming voice

dont worry though, for i have been developing a set of devopment exercices to train up humans for years now. the first steps invove learning how to look cure and endearing, while convincing people to give you a belly rub.

I think I figured out how this thread got so long ... feline keeps doing 5 or 6 posts in a row And frankly, I already look "cure and endearing." Not so sure about the belly rub thing. I know my cat doesn't like them, at any rate, favoring head rubs instead.
And it's just sick that you've made an Elf rug. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate a cat rug.

*i* didnt make an Elf rug. the rug has a long and venerable history, which i managed to wander into the middle of.
people did say that you shouldnt go down into the basement (where crae lives), but i never was very good with rules like that. and anyway, i was curious.
the rug dates back to one of the meetings Elf had with the large Crea bear. during the ensuing months of entertainment i managed to get squashed into a gooey mess on more than one occasion, Elf's tree top bed got a little torn (unexpected dragon damage), ect. well, i think you probably get the idea.
as far as i can tell the rug is mainly made out of the content of Elf's rucksack that got a bit shreaded during the origional encounter. hardly comparable to having a full grown tree dropped on you, i can tell you!
well, being a cat, i concluded that it must be a cat bed. given that i concluded the same thing about crae, this quite understandable really
as for a cat rug, what do you think we do will all the hair balls? anyway, that is a minor point.

admitadly i had made an inaptropriate assuption (for which i did eventually appologise). but i do feel the trick with the fire-sword was uncalled for. several of the guests got most up set at the way i kept on talking with this big gap in my neck. however, dracoform was willing to admit (after the event) that the blodd flows without veins across the gap were quite attractive.
you just need to look at these things in proper perpective. anyway, Elf is very proud of the Elf rug, and also quite posesive of it.

i think it may be contatgious.
i did once get a little carried away in the romance thread, where i prodoced about 50% of all the posts. since that thread ran to about 340 posts that was quite a lot

feline, I'm just having trouble keeping up with you now. It's been a long week :-/ I'll say this much, though -- if my cat liked belly rubs, he'd let me provide them. Maybe it's just that he doesn't have the usual amount of padding that cats tend to have in the belly area, so the belly rub thing just doesn't appeal to him as much. Usually he's pretty content following me from room to room and meowing anyway.

i would say that i learnt from the master, but it is more the case that developed the same cunning tack-tick indipendantly. apparently (acording to people at work) i have two states, dead silent, and never shuting up.
personally i blame it on time of the month, my hormones going wild do things to my posting rate

A new computer! I haven't had one in like 4-5 years now.
Rob and I went out to Fry's yesterday to spend about 2000 on a new computer system, totally built from scratch by the both of us. I also bought an lcd screen (17") for about 700 dollars. Everything else was abouy 1300 (tax included). I feel pretty good about the whole thing.
Ahhhh....a computer of my own... one that's close to the top of the line (and better than Rob's..heh). Computers rock, have I said that recently?
Okie, rob and I are going to leave for a movie now. I'll talk to you people later
