Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

I don't think the admins hate you at all I think most other people (people who don't post here) think of this thread as an accident on the side of the road...something you don't want to look at, but are compelled to anyway.

in the end, i have decided to post my personal opinion on this. oh yes, i think my blood sugar level might be an imaginary number right about now, so if this sounds more odd than usual, that is why
a) if you feel bound by the relationship, then either you have been playing with the chocolate handcuffs again, or there is something odd. surely relationships are based on respect and love, not "being bound"
i see no reason why this wonderful world of fantasy, fun and friendship cannot exist alongside your other lives and other selves. remember, your partner is always welcome to join you here, just so long as they like chocolate and fun
JavaBean is married and has a daughter. werewolf has cubs. i love them both deeply as my friends! i see no conflict, no confusion, no problem. if anything, i respect them all the more for having someone special in their lives.
Elf, the same goes for you! this is a happy place, and never a threat to anything, except sad and depressing thoughts, which we will spank out of you! *giggles*

now let me explain. if we say the average post here is 500 characters long, just for a number, and say there are 5000 posts in total, then this thread takes up 2500000 characters.
converting this (aprox, different people have different definitions of meg) into meg gives just under 2.4meg of data.
now look at the DX themes! look at the wallpapers!
in those sections, what can you get for 1meg?
in comparison, in simple terms of shear size, this entire thread is insignificant next to the skins on this site.
as if that was not enough, this thread was (probably) the main reason for T-Man providing us with the ability to load only 'n' messages at a time on longer threads. remember the happy day we first got that feature as we raced towards our first 1,000 posts?
those features have been welcomed by the vast majority of posters when they showed up across the rest of the message board.
if that was not enough, look at the shear joy, happiness, fun and merriment this thread creates???
and if all of that doesnt sway you, our beloved JavaBean (a stardock employee in very good standing) and one of the site's admins has threatened people with a fate worse than death if they try and do anything to this wonderful thread!
also, if that was not all enough, this is my HOME now, and i LOVE it! so there!
