Msgboard Chatroom Marathon
Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

i passed through briefly at the weekend, so got a quick look at it then. but now that i have a bit more time i wanted a better look. however, that page comes up as forbidden, and i cannot see it
Ah well.... I had that picture stored at webshots. I got a note from them that someone reported that picture for copyright infringement... which is strange since I drew it just before I ulploaded it. The only place that picture was visible was here because it was in a private album.
Here is a link to the album with the picture in it. If someone is playing mean, then it will get deleted too. But they are all mine, all with PSP and all this weekend. I am trying to learn the program. http://community.webshots.com/album/57745985ZcoXjbReply #4167 Monday, December 16, 2002 2:12 PM

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.
-W.B. Yeats

As far as I know, they wanted their whole account deleted, which will in turn delete any replies or comments that they made. Bit odd.

March Morning
The covert morning opens demurely
Like an eruditic well worn page;
A fragile yellow first edition
Ruptured for the umpteenth time.
Silence flows like gushing streams
Down to where the still sheep fester.
Violent and irritated, it drowns
The dawn chorus provocateurs.
The antagonist opens fire -
Its devastation is complete.
The succubus is laid to rest,
Its frosty fingers melt like plastic -
A chuckle-headed cadaver
Debauched into an early grave.

I think that the count is right, since the posts were actually made...you just can't see them anymore

goodmorphing ***BLUSH***
Thanks KarmaGirl! I just wanted to give something to everyone for Christmas and it was all I could think of. It was going to be all decorated, but I gave up. goodmorphing thinks the most funny thing is someone tried to say it was copyrighted and Webshots deleted it... they would have a hard job finding anyone to claim that thing but me.
Anyway I sent them a challenge. I explained all about the situation and I expect them to document their reasons for destroying my work.
WW: Go back to GM's link, right click on it and choose "Copy Shortcut", then open IE or whatever flavor of browser you're using, and paste the URL into the address bar. Click go, or whatever and you can see her magnificent card!!

"Nature
As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please
him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we
know."
--- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

). Didn't get a chance to get on this morning, there wasn't enough time before work cos I got up late. Unlike some I don't spend my working hours online, I have to work
! Like the pic, soooo much colour. Very cheerful. You're not doing bad with PSP - I still can't get it do do anything...
Managed to get a round button last skin, but thats as far as I've got. Fuzzy Logic needs to spend some of this holiday with PSP tutorials
