Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

werewolf and everyone else missed you. We've all been running around naked, bouncing and popping up from behind bushes. C'mon in!

Fuzzy Logic gives big hug to KG for feeling unnoticed *HUG*

Fuzzy Logic is not concerned about the meaning of life -
Fuzzy Logic is too busy having fun by eating chocolate and playing with furry animals in the forest....

Whoops! Forgot I did the ol' super-secret nickname change See, at least werewolf thought enough to do the profile check But I'll bet you don't have all the Falstaff WMP skins.. there's one hidden away, not on here!

And hey, I did bring chocolate.. fuzzy chocolate handcuffs

Ain't missing out on much, wolfy.. it's basically just the standard green one with the addition of track time -- FalstaffTT. It's over on AU if you want it: http://www.artuproar.com/index.php?page=moreabout&num=8646

I had lofty plans of a video-enabled version and other stuff, but I just get too lazy with figuring out the coding

may not be fun, wolf.. but at least it never destroyed my computer.. and unfortunately, I can't say as much for my pocketpc and pocketblinds.. still trying to recover from that one

java.. my point was, no one was thrown off when ya switched personalities.. of course, you announced it, if I recall.. I would've announced it, but I forgot I even did it!

of course, I seem to still be "Glen Eric Reed" as the author of my skins.. guess the nickname is just for the message board?

Not really sure on that one. That would be a question for T-Man or Alexandrie.

Well, I'm leaving work now. Chat with you people later!

Ruthven: though of course no one notices when I pop back in after an absence of several months.. though that might be because I get things all mixed up and come in carrying fuzzy chocolate handcuffs :-/

goodmorphing thinks I will have to say it louder, then.

Hi Ruthven! I don't know if you missed a lot other than tickling, chocolate and furry testing. Fuzzy keeps winning the magic numbers, but he had to buy a new computer to do it, and manage a lot of catastrophes too.

Ruthven: of course, I seem to still be "Glen Eric Reed" as the author of my skins.. guess the nickname is just for the message board?

goodmorphing wonders if you practiced that bit of magic called crossreferencing your account yet? That might help.

goodmorphing pout went to all the trouble finding a tickle (not to mention sexy sigh) machine to keep fuzzy company when no one is about and he doesn't like it.... sigh

KarmaGirl: KarmaGirl - Guess everyone didn't even notice I was gone...sniff..sniff...

I noticed! I even showed you my computer statistics to celebrate you new dell...

You know, on my other message board we have a duplex function. You can poke one link that tells the message board to show you every single message in the thread. And you can poke another one that says forget the whole thread, just show me the previous 15 before the ones that are showing now. goodmorphing wonders if that is a question worthy of asking T-man, along with colors and icons?

I wouldn't want you to get killed,though.

Old Crab: Weird and strange. Is this thread a place of exile? Where no real sane person can join? I've got some chocoalate. Nothing fuzzy though. No wait my houseshoes are fuzzy.

goodmorphing thinks this is just the sort of place for crabs of any age. Our forest does have all sorts of accommodations, you know. Most of us are the crabby-challenged types sometimes you know

Old Crab: Sanity at this time of day, night, should not be questioned. goodmorphing has found it advisable never to confront, challenge, or question sanity at any time. Mostly you are lucky if it hangs around some. I have found it best to only peek at it and address it indirectly for it is illusive and prone to retreat. Once you start questioning it it disappears all together!

feline rushes towards dark_seraphim on a rescue mission

Hopes that KarmaGirl was done with it after you wrapped her up for bellybutton healing. goodmorphing looks back in the dust to see if she can spy signs of KG spinning in the dust.....

KG: My daughter had her yearly checkup and had to have 3 immunizations (ouch) so I spent the day with her to make her feel better...or was that so I wouldn't feel guilty? One or the other!

I hope they were just the regular ones that were miserable enough. Some of the new ones they talk about are really horrible.

goodmorphing detects unrealistic, oversensitive, paranoid types of thoughts and perceptions... recognizes this as a possible reaction to the pain medicine. Thinks it might be best to step away from message boards for the time being...

Old crab wishs everyone a pleasant night. I left a large, Easter basket of Cadbury chocolate, cream filled eggs behind the Purple Willow in the Fantasy Forest for any interested parties. Old crab will now quietly tip-toe out so as not to disturb the threads permanent residents.
