Msgboard Chatroom Marathon
Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

Hey! I got a new Camera!
It's a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F707. It has 5 effective mega pixels a 10x zoom Carl Zeiss lens, and manual overrides for everything. It is *so* cool! My sweet hubby bought it for me with his overtime money....some women get jewelry- I get cameras (and I like it!) You can see it at:

if that doesn't work, copy and paste this into you browser:

At last a good tickle, sigh... Chocolate tastes soooo much better when you are content following a tickle
And I don't want KarmaGirl and feline arguing over who's doing the tickling - there's enough of me to go round.

let me know what you guys (and girls) think. It's been awhile since I've done this stuff, so it is really missing some polish...

nice composition, cute subject, but there's an overall purple cast. Was that intended?

the purple cast is from my $^#^%@&%# scanner. It was a sepia print, but the scanner tried to color correct it even though I removed all the color correction settings. Still working on it. I think that the color of the one with the Willow tree is a bit better. I also noticed that if you click on them, the details page for them shows a bit more correct color.

OOOOOO that's nice! Pretty and delicate little girl; nice nature shot... innocence lost in thought.

That's neat! goodmorphing thinks you must have the perfect kind of husband that encourages your thoughts and abilities! Celebrates for you!

werewolf, yep, that is my little Miss Madeline! She will be four years old on the 25th, and it makes me feel old! She looks just like I did at her age- it's really freaky!
GM, yep, my hubby is pretty cool about the creative stuff. I met him when I was in school doing Darkroom techniques, so he knew what he was getting himself into! One Christmas, while we were dating, he bought me a big box of photo oils and a new light meter...it was *so* cool!

No skinbrowser at the moment - I haven't installed it yet. I'm coming to you now in glorious technicolour Windows 98... Yes, that's right, I've finally junked XP. A couple of hours a go I was designing a CD cover in Word. Almost had it complete after half an hour when, suddenly, Word went off. No fuss, no nothing, just off. Programs do that a lot in XP, plus games wont run etc etc. No problems with ol' 98, other than having to use a crappy modem which tends to drop connections easily.
Anyway, must be off now - more installing to do...

There, I have put on the long dress so that you can hide....where's the chocolate?
FL- "And why does feline get it's tummy tickled? What about poor Fuzzy?"
KarmaGirl tickles Fuzzy's tummy.... Seems like you need it after the whole computer crash and everything!
