Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

goodmorphing thinks that dracoform is on to something. Sometimes I think that men's hearts and the tender corners of their brains get dismissed too guickly, or not understood very much.
that is the depressing thing about me. the men i encounter dont seem to have these bits
i like to think that i am just exposed to a particuarly depressing (in this sence) bunch of men, but i am not totaly sure.
it is compounded by having a working knowledge of how male hormones think. they can be so depressing at times

goodmorphing has come to think (from her observations of lots of big brothers) that lots of the most tender ones learn to hide these things when they are very young. And they get very defensive of those hiding places.

GM - heh... dracoform is wise... this dance phase is scary and more so because it is so public.... I think my second guessing tyrant is OK with feline, but doesn't like to be in the open like this. All locked down into a sent thread....
you are not the only one who keeps on wanting to run off and hide.
a) perhaps we should continue part of this in a more private place? do you have any ideas? one "problem" to deal with on that is that from my work machine most private places may not be accessable, and i wouldnt feel very free to talk even if they were available.

GM - way back then my hugs were attached to my heart. And it took a long, long time to glue that back together again. I decided that I really didn't understand hugging at all... or that maybe something was wrong with them.

feline rather likes this idea, for it contains the seeds of hope
since i work in a group of men, you dont get to see that side of them. even when there are women around, they tend to try and compete for who can make the most perverted or insinuating comment.
the amusing thing about that game though is that the women normally win very easily, even when out numbered

since i work in a group of men, you dont get to see that side of them. even when there are women around, they tend to try and compete for who can make the most perverted or insinuating comment. goodmorphing thinks that this is their camaflogue... they think that if we can show what a "man" we are, no one will think to go looking for that other place and they get louder and louder with their "man proclamations" more so the more interested and afraid they become.
I don't blame them, I think that there are some very mean women out there. goodmorphing thinks I could be a very rich woman if I had wanted to play that game.

goodmorphing thinks that the worst (and saddest) would be that we would find that we are not alike at all (though I think that is unlikely). The best is that we remain close friends who understand each other better. My feelings tend to be harder on me than they are on other people. So my fear is the beating I would give myself.

also another fear... I wouldn't want to lose the fun here, and all the plans we can make for fuzzy logic, getting to know the chocolate planet. This is a treasure and I wouldn't want to damage it. This thread, this message board, the fun participation....
