A tadpole has died.

Sigh. One of my 2 tadpoles I got for Christmas died this morning. 
Definitely difficult to raise. The ones I catch in the pond in the summer seem much easier to raise. These tadpoles are leopard frog tadpoles.

Such is the nature of nature.
During the summer here, I have leopard frogs - both green and tan varieties, out the beezer.
Want I should box you up dozen and Fed-EX 'em to you this spring?

Thanks for the offer Elwin. In the summer I usually catch a bunch of toad tadpoles and raise them into toads and release them. Keeps the mosquitos down. Of course, my neighbors think I'm insane.

Dangeruss - while some of the voices in my head agree with my neighbors, the majority of them say I am quite sane. They also tell me to start fires.

i hope you have more than just one left. it would be sad for none of them to mature

perhaps the ones in summer are more adapted to local conditions? maybe the leopard frog ones need special help?

look, if you lived in a "sensible" country then you wouldnt have this problem.

become very rich. rich people are never crazy, they are mearly excentric

get documents to prove you are sane.
step one is to find a suitable genius to acredit you. personally i always use myself, since i am not convinced anyone else really apreaciates me properly.
once you have the document proving you are a genuis (produced by the acrediting genius), you are qualified to judge your own sanity, and to produce a certificate saying so.
pink highlighter is always a good tool for creating such a certificate, since it makes it more noticable, so forstalling all these baseless suggestions of insanity.
