Downloading Window Blinds Skins

Wednesday, January 23, 2002 by johnberb | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hello,

I have noticed that many times when I choose to download a paticurar Window Blinds skin and then open up my Window Blinds Configuration Menu and look for the skin that I just donloaded it's not to be foun?

I just ran into this situation a bit ago when I downloaded the "JoccaHHBXP" skin for Windows XP Skins.

I have the latest registered version 3.1a of Window Blinds Enhanced that I downloaded and installed on 1/04/02.

Any input sure would be appreciated.

John,

First create a folder to put your Windowblinds downloads in, maybe in My Documents. Now right click the download link and choose "save as". Save the file in your new folder. Now go to your display properties, select the "skin" tab and click the "add" button. Now find your folder and the downloaded file and double click it. The skin should now appear in your personal library.

Your problem stems from Stardock trying to hold everyones hand and make the wba files install automatically. Why can't we do it the way bill says everytime and just have faq on how to install skinz? I mean jeez how hard is it to teach simple file system structure?
