Skinning XP with WB3
Thursday, December 20, 2001 by MadIce | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
There are a lot of good XP skins arround, but a lot of them contain bugs, because nobody knows how to skin them. Even skins from great people like Alexandrie have some bugs in them. She cannot help that because she didn't know. The problem starts when people are using her skins as a template for their own and the bugs get copied

So, I brushed my notes up. The GP sample skin is not available. It is ugly! But there is a good sample skin called BlackAndBlue from a guy named MadIce
You can get it at WinCustomize. The notes are available at:
news.stardock.com
in the following news group:
stardock.windowblinds.binaries
BTW: We will have a version of SKS that is compatible with WindowBlinds 3.1 soon. So, if you are using that and get some errors in the Analyze function then don't be alarmed. These will be corrected in the next SKS build.

as memory serves, i was only 2% behind on the nerd test, and am working hard to make up the missing points!
soon you should be able to console your wife by pointing out that you know an even bigger nerd

thanks for the thought
personally i suspect half of the problems starone and i are grappling with are due to the fact that the smartbutton implimentation is changing between WB3 and WB3.1
well, what fun would it be if it was to easy?
