PicaView & WindowBlinds v3.1

Monday, December 17, 2001 by johnberb | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I have been using a great little program that embedds itself into Windows - used it in Win98,
Win ME and now Win XP (Home)

Simply what this utility does is display a thumbnail and complete description of the pictures properties when the file is right clicked on.

What is frustrating me is that with about half of the skins I download for WindowBlinds v3.1 the thumbnail image will not display when the file is right clicked and PicaView is run?

I have tried to add it into the "Per Application" in WindowBlinds but being that this is actually not a .exe file there is no way to run it down and add it?

Here is the website where a trial version of PicaView can be downloaded -- perhaps one of you folks that design the WindowBlinds Slins could check this out for me?

Thanks So Much,

John

johnberb you might want to try turning off menu skinning in the WB properties. Worked for me. I have PicaView too.

First of all sorry about the typo. I should have typed v3.01 which I show a release date of 11/26/01

Secondly my sincere thanks to Silverado Trucker as I followed your suggestion and unchecked "Menu Backgrounds" and that fixed the situation right now pretaining to PicaView.

Again forgive the typo and thanks for the help.
