I develop now an astronomical app names "Venus". Do you have any ideas for his splash screen?

Nope, how about "no splash screen"? I find splash creens are a waste of space. Otherwise try something astronomical, like planetery alignments or so.

You can try some kind of cool star field (space) as astrology is tied to the stars and planet alignment. With a title like venus, you could hunt down the constellation of the same name and show it. Usually when they do they draw lines from star to star so you can see the basic outline of it.

ok whoops i misread astronomical and thought it said astrological. My mistake. Though obviously a cool star field will work for both.
Speaking of splash screens... I think its time Stardock changed that lamo white splash screen with faux wood grain all ready. I mean guys c'mon... you guys make some of the most awesome skinnable apps and you component manager splash screen is like, well let me candy-coat it... crap. Give us something good to look as we 'dismiss' the screen to go into the manager. I think its way time to update that.
